The Metalchor e.V. is a merger of the metal choirs TUNES OF DARKNESS from Hamburg and NORTHERN RAVENS from Lübeck. Together and with powerful voices, they celebrate the best that rock and metal has to offer. From folk ballads to melodic power metal, there’s everything your heart desires.
Metalchor e.V. is a non-profit choir founded in August 2024 and supported by around 80 members. What is created on stage here is more than just a classic choir performance: powerful voices, metal and rock classics and a palpable energy that connects the audience and performers.
Metalchor e.V. is not about origin, place of residence or perfection. It’s about people who want to be loud together. It’s about community, cohesion and the fun of experiencing music at full power and passing it on. This attitude not only shapes the sound, but also the togetherness on and behind the stage.
The choir performs at concerts, halls and festivals and, depending on the event, can either work with high-quality playbacks or travel with its own live band. In 2026, Metalchor e.V. headlined the Markthalle Hamburg.
